Bible in 365 Days – Day 40

Focus Chapters:

  • Exodus 25-28

Standout Verse(s):

Exodus 25:8-9 NLT

“Have the people of Israel build me a holy sanctuary so I can live among them. You must build this Tabernacle and its furnishings exactly according to the pattern I will show you.

Observation (s):

  1. Despite the Israelites complaining nature, God still seeks to live with His people.

    Have the people of Israel build me a holy sanctuary so I can live among them.

  2. If we desire God to live among us, our tabernacle must be built to mean his specifications.

    You must build this Tabernacle and its furnishings exactly according to the pattern I will show you.

Application:

From the days of Adam, God has sought a relationship with His people. During Adam’s time in the Garden of Eden, God came down in the evenings and communed with Adam. Thousands of years later, His desire to live among His people is still evident. Except, one thing separates us from God. We have not built the tabernacle/holy sanctuary exactly to the specifications that God has given us. Adam’s tabernacle was spoilt by his disobedience and oftentimes, ours are too. Do you seek to commune with God? He seeks to commune with you too! Bridging the gap is within your power. Remove the barrier. Build and maintain the tabernacle according to His specifications.

XOXO,
Chañel

My all-time favourite thing to do is gaining discoveries by design from My Father during our time each day. Reading, learning and trying new things falls behind in a close second place. My dream is to use my God-given talents to positively impact as many people as possible. As a proud Wolmerian, with a zest for life, I adhere to the “Age Quod Agis” motto in that whatsoever I do, I always do it to the best of my ability.
