Put Your Heart In It

In July of 2010, this song rang throughout an auditorium filled with youngsters full of dreams as they headed on to 6th form and university.

As 2016 came to a close, the chorus of this song played repeatedly in my head. “When you put your heart in it, it can take you anywhere…” This is the key lesson I learned in 2016. Put your heart in it! That’s the action I bid you to adopt in 2017.

If you want your spiritual life to soar, put your heart in it. If you want your professional and personal life to soar, put your heart in it. Become an honorary Wolmerian and adopt the Wolmers’ Group of Schools “Age Quod Agis” motto. Whatever you choose to do in 2017, do it well. Whatever you set your heart on in 2017, execute well. PUT YOUR HEART IN IT!!! No more halfhearted attempts! When you execute well on the first opportunity, I can assure you that you will live without regrets.

As you step into 2017 with purpose, I wish you all the love, joy, happiness and good things that the Lord has in store for you in 2017. May the favor of God continually smile upon you as you PUT YOUR HEART IN IT!

I am a dynamic young lady who loves the Lord and seek to have a joy that no one can take away. My all-time favourite thing to do is gaining discoveries by design from My Father during our time each day. Reading, learning and trying new things falls behind in a close second place. My dream is to use my God-given talents to positively impact as many people as possible. As a proud Wolmerian, with a zest for life, I adhere to the “Age Quod Agis” motto in that whatsoever I do, I always do it to the best of my ability.
