My Babies
So I’ve taught Sunday school for officially a year as of last month. I never realised until I started teaching teenagers, that though difficult at times, it can be a very rewarding experience.
I now have kids. Yes, at 22 I have 10 kids and I realise the numbers grow each Sunday morning. It is now my duty to check that they are doing well in school and talk to parents about their issues and take them on trips. I am also very privileged to sit and listen as they speak about their problems and ask for advice. I’ve been forced to remember high school Spanish!
I don’t say this to complain because I love it. I love my babies and feel responsible for all of them. Now I realise how my mother feels about me and probably more.
Last month we had our Sunday school convention and my babies worked for three weeks to put together something that we are very proud of. I am blessed to have these children in my life even if at times they do make me want to beat them.
The lesson I’ve learnt from all this: “The children are important. They are strong yet vulnerable and it is our duty as adults to ensure that they have their best shot.”
XOXO

I am a dynamic young lady who loves the Lord and seek to have a joy that no one can take away. My all-time favourite thing to do is gaining discoveries by design from My Father during our time each day. Reading, learning and trying new things falls behind in a close second place. My dream is to use my God-given talents to positively impact as many people as possible.
